Some nights on the island, Elska is visited by a mysterious Arctic Fox while she is sleeping.  The fox sneaks into Elska's house and sleeps on her pillow, just above her head.  Elska doesn't get to see him (because she is sleeping) but in the morning, she checks for the footprints of the fox outside of her door, which lets her know if he was there.
